Herding Hawk is showing a lot of talent in the herding field, including very high herding drive and biddability. She finished 2006 as the #4 Herding Sheltie, and is now focusing on Agility. At the Centeral Indiana Shetland Sheepdog Club's trial at Dogwood Farm in 2006, Hawk finished her HSAs in style with 2 High In Trials, a Reserve High In Trial, and a High in Combined award! Agility Hawk is showing great talent in agility. She went from Novice to Excellent in less than a dozen trials. Her intense focus and quick response to her handler has given some inexperienced people the impression she is sound sensitive. Fortunately, experienced handlers and trainers can tell the difference between a talented, intense dog and a spazzy dog! Hawk is currently working on her MACH with owner Kevin.
